Orientation to Floortime™ is a three-session workshop for parents that provides an overview and introduction to the DIRFloortime® approach to intervention for children with autism and other developmental challenges. This class is appropriate for families who are considering entering a DIRFloortime® program, those who have recently started a DIRFloortime® program, or those who desire more information at any time while their child is receiving DIRFloortime® services.
Parents are the most important people in a child’s life, and their relationship with their child is the key to a child’s development. This orientation class will help parents understand the Floortime™ approach and their role in supporting their child’s development.
Classes are taught by Brandt Chamberlain, PhD, take place monthly, and are limited to six families. The cost is $230 per family, and the program is vendored by regional centers (#PD3198). Families may also pay privately or use self-determination funds.
Please call 626.793.7350 to reserve your spot.
Classes take place on three consecutive Wednesdays, 6:00-7:30 pm.
Parents must attend ALL three classes.
