Special Olympics Young Athletes™ Pasadena is a free year-round, sports-play program for young children, two to seven years old, with cognitive and developmental challenges. Through play,young athletes are introduced to the exciting world of sports and Special Olympics.

Thank you to all who attended this holiday benefit hosted at the historic home of Craig and Carolyn Watson. This event was a benefit for the Pasadena Symphony and POPS, Heifer International, St. James Church, and Professional Child Development Associates.
December 3, 2015: PCDA Shopping Party
Thank you to all who joined us at Place Vendôme for an exclusive PCDA shopping event. Fine jewelry from European and American designers were presented in a beautiful gallery setting, and patrons were served wine and hors d’oeuvres.
November 14, 2015: Celestino Wine Dinner
Hosted at the Celestino Ristorante and Bar in Pasadena, patrons enjoyed delicious Italian cuisine and award winning wine. A big thank you to those that attended this benefit dinner!
November 3, 2015: 4th Annual Teen Club Artist Gallery
Current members of Teen Club had created and selected pieces from their personal collections to share at the Armory Center for the Arts gallery. Those who attended were able to view the art, mingle and enjoy light refreshments.
October 25, 2015: Dark Spirits Bourbon and Cigar Tasting Benefit
Patrons sampled an array of bourbon and cigars, and savored a delicious selection of barbequed oysters and tri tip sandwiches. PCDA raised over $5,000 through this event, and 100 percent of the proceeds will benefit children and families apart of PCDA. A special thank you to all who contributed towards making this a spectacular evening.
