Pamela Jacobson,
MS, CCC- SLP, MBA

Interim Executive Director

  • Pam Jacobson is a seasoned Interim Executive and nonprofit professional with an MBA in nonprofit management. She has a track record of successfully guiding organizations through leadership transitions by engaging staff in shaping the organization's next chapter.

    Pam started her career as a Speech Language Pathologist and was the founder of Hand in Hand Family & Child Development Center in Encino. She also has extensive experience in the realm of child development and clinics like ours. She and our own PCDA founders collaborated on state-wide training projects to help other agencies launch interdisciplinary Early Intervention services throughout California.

    She has served in leadership roles for numerous multi-disciplinary organizations, including Tierra del Sol, The ALS Association-Golden West Chapter and Jewish Family and Children's Services of Long Beach, and prides herself in a reputation for being a strong partner with board and staff alike.

Julie Miller, MOT, OTR/L, SWC

Clinical Director
Occupational Therapist

  • Julie Miller, MOT, OTR/L, SWC transitioned into the role of Clinical Director at PCDA in Fall of 2019 following her long standing role of head of Occupational Therapy and the Interdisciplinary Feeding Team at PCDA. Julie holds a DIR-Expert certification via ICDL and advanced practice in Swallowing Assessment, Evaluation, and Intervention from the California Board of Occupational Therapy. She is a member member of the Occupational Therapy Association of California and was previously a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association's Commission on Practice. Julie is known for her participation in professional organizations, speaking engagements at local and international conferences, and laughter in the office.
